Happy Birthday Christina - August 30th 2009

Christina, Troy, Treyson and Tavin Tinsley in 2009. A lovely family group, Thank You! Christina had previously completed a weight-loss program and was down to her pre-pregnancy gorgeous figure.
This picture is on honor of Christina - her birthday is August 30th - Picture taken October 1976 in front of Cindy & Les's former home at 517 Grace Avenue in Worland, WY. Christina was just over one year old: Walt, Lorna & Turtle, Paul, me, Tom, Thoma Lee, & Ron - arent' we a good looking group!! Christina, you are a great addition to the Clan Gregory and we're glad you joined.

Does anyone recognize this skinny young man with Turtle riding on his neck? You're supposed to smile! Taken October 1976 at funeral of Grandad Lester Mark Gregg.

Bear Creek trip July 2009

When I was a child and my family lived on the homestead, we would pass this old stone home which was built in 1882, called the Ed Griffin home. Bear Creek is nearby and located about 20 miles east of Chugwater and 40 miles north of Cheyenne. My son Walt was fascinated by this piece of history and marveled that the stone is still in prime condition. Thanks, Walt, Nancy and Treyson for a memorable excursion.
These dishes came from boxes of Quaker Oatmeal which was popular during the 1930's and collected by Marie Van Zee Cheeney, my mother. Thoma Lee and I "sorted and put" heirlooms and keepsakes - she took some doilies and handkerchiefs to fashion into a quilt If you are a Gregg or Cheeney descendant, be assured more "stuff" is headed in your direction.

I am in the business of living!

I still love food! Call me anytime and we will do lunch!
My sons Paul & Walt - Paul quickly came and rescued me from Ten Sleep when I first began to experience unusual symptoms, and Walt had been working at Leadbetter Farms near Ocean Park, WA, so we were able to spend most weekends in Seattle together - I can't thank them enough for all the tender loving care they gave me - I love you all!

Did I mention GREAT grandkids? Oh yes I did. Here I am with granddaughter Shauna and her husband Brannon (who just finished medical school and was more than a little helpful with all our medical questions) and my GREAT GRANDSON RIO!

My granddaughter Christina and her husband Troy came clear from St. George to Seattle just to see me! I can never get enough of my kids and grandkids (and now great grandkids!)

I was fortunate to spend part of March, April, and May in Seattle with my son Paul and his family. Even though this stay included surgery for a brain tumor (Glioblastoma Multiform) we still managed to do some sight-seeing. Here I am with my cute daughter in law Debbie at the top of the Space Needle - oh I do love heights!
